I met my friends from Jovem Dionisio 7 years ago.
when they still called themselves "banda Huff", covered bands of dubious reputation and the biggest gig they had until then had been at the federal university of our city.
at that time we had our first collaboration: we recorded one of the first videos from "estúdio 172 sessions".
when nobody - not them and absolutely not me - knew what we`re doing.
the invitation came through my former partner, Skraba, who already believed that there was something to see about those boys.
our relationship became more serious as we matured.
in 2019 they invited me to listen to their first copyright songs
who also composed their first ep; "Dança Entre Casais".
at the time, as a freelancer, I was the creative director of this release;
directed the photo shoot, made the cover of the ep and the digital media strategy.
since then, our friendship has strengthened.
and our contact also became more constant.
not long after that, I received a bounce on my whatsapp of their first hit; "Pontos de Exclamação" and, along with it, the invitation to create the music video.
the film went viral on YouTube and today, 3 years later, has more than 23 million views.
from then on we became best friends and never stopped working together.
in mid-2020, the time came to work on the band's first album; "Acorda, Pedrinho".
immersed in the project from the first stages of the process; I did 2 music production retreats with them and had been developing and thinking about the creative direction of the album during the whole process.
after the songs were ready, I executively produced the pre-production of all graphic and audiovisual materials - assembling the necessary team to deliver an integrated campaign in a short time.
we develop the uniforms they wear; the album cover and logo and all online and offline media - which also went through my creative direction.
I`ve directed 3 music videos from the album and the tour launch film.
after the release of the disc
we`ve hit the road
and I`ve signed the scene direction of more than 60 shows throughout Brazil and part of Europe; scenography and visuals (light and led panel).
